Anyways, the purposes of this post are to update people on what I'm doing while I'm not posting, give a bit of an insight about me and to serve as platform for me to convey simple message to those who view my LJ. It's because I don't really post about my personal life in my LJ thus I have large gaps in between my entries and it makes me feel uneasy and somehow guilty?

Briefly about me
How I got to know KinKi Kids - my first LJ entry

First of all, it has never occured to me even once before to be a subber. But when futari_fansubs was on a hiatus some months ago, I became agitated and tried a lot of new things and thus now I'm stuck with the KinKi fansubbing world. I cannot guarantee that I will continue doing this for long, especially since I see Futari is getting back on its track again and there are more KinKi subbers emerging, but I will do this as long as there's unsubbed interesting clips out there.
Oh, nobody asked me about this, but my default userpic is a picture of Someiyoshino, a variety of cherry tree. Also the name of Tsuyo's masterpiece.

Current status

Currently working, and in a very very busy posting. I doubt that I can finish any of this within the next 4 months, no matter how much I want to!>_< Still doing bits and bits of my wish entries. But I'm still interested to do these once I'm free:

1. Love Love Aishiteru - Kimura Takuya as the guest checking it out
2. Various previous KinKi/Tsuyoshi/Kouichi appearances in Music Station
3. Various 2008 Shindoi episodes, since I see none of them have been subbed before o.o


Requests?

To be honest, I don't really accept requests since I'm a rather random person, but thinking back, I did SDK with Toda Erika due to a few recommendations from some people and I didn't regret it at all so...if there is such a place to make a request in my LJ it would be here. I wouldn't call it a request, probably just to tell me if there's any KinKi clips worth subbing out there that I haven't come across. Check here or je_index for subbed KinKi shows and clips.

I did some f-list clean up just now and I'm sorry if you found yourself no longer in my mutual friend list. It must be because of some obvious reasons where I don't think me not being your LJ friend would matter that much to you. ^_^ . I prefer to have small circle of f-list who I know well and interact with every now and then.
Apologies to all those who friended me too, I don't add people back by reflex unless people ask me to do so. So if you think you have something to share, just hit me with a message. =B

AND! I welcome any types of discussion, especially KinKi related! I totally love discussing about them, anything at all. Please get your fingers moving and type me something about them, will you? You can even direct me to your LJ to let me know what you think of KinKi Kids, I even accept hate-entries! (though most probably I will silently curse you in my heart..jk) I'm a nice person overall, you can ask my f-lists to confirm it I bribed them though so don't be scared.

These are the clips that I have in my possession, subbed in English. This list does not include subbed/karaoked PVs as I don't really collect them (except for Story PV), and Doumoto Kyoudai episodes which have been listed somewhere else. I also don't include future projects (except mine, which I know for sure will be released) of fansubbers.

I would really appreciate if everyone can take a look at this checklist and see if I miss anything. Note that I only state the subber's name along with their homepage, and not the download link. It's a "Do I have something you don't, or do you have something I don't" kind of thing. Onegai shimasu!

I miss finishing my subs and releasing them!

But this one took me very long, I had lots of things to settle with me going to work and stuffs (wow, I'm no longer a student ...ackk..real adult :p). I can't believe I'm actually releasing this in the middle of my induction course before I go to work in the next 2 weeks. :D Thank goodness they provide (a rather slow and unstable) wi-fi connection in the hotel I'm staying in. ^_^.

AND! I received more than a thousand comments! I'm happy, haha. Actually I thought of messaging the person who gave me the 1000th message, but I must have lost track...thank you minna-san. Even though you don't know me, and I don't know you, but the comments warm my heart.

So here goes another Shin Doumoto Kyoudai that I subbed. And who's the guest you wonder? She's Koike Eiko, a former (?) gravure idol, now actress and tv personality. Well, there must be a reason why I decided to sub the episode with her as the guest, right? Hehe, well I saw her for the first time in a Shindoi episode subbed by mimosa51244where she and YOU were guests, and I've been watching this episode for many times and I noticed that the relationship between her and Tsuyoshi looks suspicious...haha. And I like her! Wellll...she does have a big breast >_<, but it can't be helped, can it. ^^; I wanted to see how she interacts with Tsuyoshi in SDK, so I watched this and yeah.

I love capspams. Sometimes I go to my previous posts and look at my capspams for minutes without any reason. I'm hentai. '_' There aren't many for this episode though, I think the awesomeness lies in the action and talk instead of pics this time. :D



So like, okay, I forgot to mention another small reason why I sub this episode, it's Tsuyoshi. My favourite hairstyle of his. And he was slim. Do I need to explain more?
Kouichi was the good-old Kouichi. But brown hair makes his skin looks darker.

This is so not me, but I'm posting something without a release..!! Yaay!
I felt tired subbing Koike Eiko's SDK, so I thought I should post something, to do something different. Ahhhhhh! And I just finished playing Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions too! I want to write something about that! Just you wait!

Ehem..

I've stalkedread many Johnny's fans journals, and though they may not state it explicitly, from their posts I can tell that this person doesn't like this particular group, or that certain person.

It baffles me a little to see how there's too few, or close to zero, seem to be KinKi haters.

This is not my opinion, but the popular arguments about other groups are;

KAT-TUN: Arrogant, kept insulting each other, lack of enthusiasm in variety shows?
Arashi: Lack of actual talent (except for Ohno), too many variety shows, songs overrated
NEWS: Lack of member ai
Kanjani8: A group of harsh loud people

But among these haters, most of them will either love KinKi, like their songs, or think of them as so-so. I can't find any haters yet. Yet.
Maybe I haven't searched enough. ^^;

Anybody would like to enlighten me with any KinKi hater journal/blog? I just want to read on what they think, because KinKi is just too awesome in my opinion, maybe I need a bit of a downtune. :p

Y_Y What's wrong with me? Why do I sub so slowly? Even in my holidays...

Anyways! I do something new everytime,so I'm happy! ^^ This time I did a full typesetting again, colourful SDK makes it a tiring job, but fun as well! Please tell me what you think of it so that I can improve next time. I also changed the font a bit...

So I had a really good dose of Becky lately, but in her Shindoi post I didn't really say how I got to know her for the first time, ne? Well, that will have to be ...her appearance in Cartoon KAT-TUN, some time in 2007? I remember one of the talks was about whether she can speak english or not. Haha. And she made some sort of..date cards for KAT-TUN, so my first impression of her was..."this girl is really a hyperactive one.". Later I saw her again in Tensai Shimura show, and then a few more shows. But only Shindoi gave me a really deep thought of her. :)

About this episode...I can never miss watching a KinKi fangirl as the guest! Fun fun! If it weren't for this episode, I would never have guessed that she was/is a KinKi fan from Shindoi. ^^;

Though it's regrettable that I wasn't able to release this on Tsuyoshi's birthday, it's finished at last. After the horrible exams, and passing. *relieved*
Did a full typesetting, which I don't know how many people would like it, but I've always liked the things on the screen to be translated as well ^^.
Despite finishing this, I don't feel all that satisfied with this release. Reason being that I'm not sure with some of the translations in some parts. The two boys talked as if they're not on TV at all! Forgive me if you spot any translation mistakes - feel free to correct me and I'll take a look at it again despite having looked at them gazillion of times. ^^ . I'm even beginning to hate Nagase now. XD

BUT!

I used enshinge-san's translation for the parts that she did with ohmiya_sg, so those are one of the parts that I'm sure they're accurate. :D. Thanks a bunch to enshinge for her awesome translations and ohmiya-sg for making it happen a.k.a bugging en-chan?

It saddens me that I could not finish subbing Shindoi in time for his birthday T_T. Real life gets the whole of me today and yesterday, and this weekend would be a no-no too. I believe that I'd make it next week. Gomen ne, minna, Tsuyo. Y_Y

A personal post - just because it will affect my KinKi fangirling very much.

Tomorrow is the first day to a big battle of my life as a student - Finals.
A battle which will last for 2 weeks.

I hope at the end of it, I will be able to cry in happiness with the outcome.

As it is a custom here to forgive and apologize with each other before a big event, I would like to apologize if I offended anybody in LJ. (_._) . If I had, it was truly not on purpose.

I've finally finished typesetting and QCing for this episode. It's really harder than I thought! Doing a full typesetting isn't easy, and what with the terrible Kanji knowledge of mine, one can only expect a very slow release. And woot, my final exams are next week! FINALS! Nafiza-san, please don't take them lightly....study more!

But..but..

Yes, this will be the last release before my exams.

I'm still excited though, since this is the first Shindoi that I've helped in. Thank you very much to hikko_hikko and sangatsu7, especially sangatsu-san because Hikko and I overlapped with him in this and he has kindly agreed to collaborate. Yasashii sugiru! :D
This is another random project actually, my plan was to sub Nagase's as my first Shindoi...but as circumstances happen..

Another SDK subbing - and this time it's the infamous Toda Erika as the guest! I've been working on this episode for over a week, it's a bit delayed since I was sick, well, I haven't fully recovered yet but it's much better than it was before. PLUS! I did typesetting!! Yaaaay...=_=. It really took a lot of time, for a first-timer like me, it's killing my eyes! I didn't do the whole thing though....even though I'm tempted to. Maybe next time when I have more time.

Anyways, about our guest, Toda Erika, I first knew her when she was in Death Note, where she acted as Misa. I thought she was cute, but somehow I didn't really hate her character (where as I hate Misa in the manga). The next was probably...Code Blue. I'm not a big fan of her, but I do like her as a person and as an actress, I think her acting skill is good. Seeing her in SDK made me like her even more - she's so natural, not acting too mature and or too cutish. And she's 20 years old...XD

SDK with Gackt will be subbed by somebody else, so right now I have nothing really in mind to sub, except maybe Shindoi with Nagase. But I have a big exam in March, so I really should be studying for it, therefore I may not release anything for some time (hopefully). If I pass the exams with flying colours on April and no one has subbed Shindoi with Nagase by then, I promise to sub it as Tsuyoshi's b-day celebration! :D Please wish me luck! *_*

Well, I'll just take this as commemorating the 28th single....which placed at number 1 again! 28th consecutive singles placing at number 1...congratulations, KinKi!

This episode is taking me longer time that I expected, perhaps due to a lot of explanation I have to snip here and there (prepare for spams of translation notes!).

As an introduction, the guest, Katou Natsuki, was Kouichi's co-star in Sushi Ouji....and just to remind you, I love her! She manages to be cheeky and making me not hate her at the same time! Unlike a certain someone.. Which I think is great! Actually I've liked her since I saw her in Sushi Ouji (I think I've seen her in Hana Yori Dango too...but she didn't quite give me the impression)..and I think her accent in the drama is adorable! Everytime she says "Sushi Ouji!" I would awww and laugh.

She's from Akita prefecture, which has its own dialect and famous for its agricultural activity. Therefore you'll see lots of explanations here and there...gomen ne for not being able to do it better! I learnt a lot though, and I hope you'll learn something too after seeing this episode!

It's such a short clip, I feel kinda silly subbing it, but well, I get to do whatever I want..mwahahah.

Anyways, my first time subbing an SDK episode; at first because I'm so excited about Tsuyoshi performing Shirushi, but after watching the whole episode I found that it has a lot more to offer.

P.S. Anybody subbing SDK with Gackt next week? Since Futari Fansub is a bit dormant currently..and nobody is planning to sub SDK with Katou Natsuki (this episode is a must-see!)? How about Shindoi with Nagase on February?

Yatta! I'm finally finished with this! It took me.........well, a long time. A LOONGG time. Around 4 days and it took a huge portion of my day. Aegisub somehow didn't want to synch with the audio of this clip and I have to re-check the sub everytime..which is soo time-consuming. And I'm supposed to study for my exams tomorrow. Hahaha.

Anyways, this episode is so fun! As usual kouhai-senpai interaction is always nice to watch. Arashi was so naive back then, especially MatsuJun.


After being bullied by the rest of the Johnny's, it's Shinohara's payback time? LOL. Ninomiya was freaked out.


Even the part when they take out the doll is funny, especially Ohno-kun's! His expression is so priceless.

Ah, before I forget, I would appreciate any feedbacks on the subs, about the translation, font, alignment, timing, stuffs. Because I've been looking at it too much I can't really spot any mistakes/errors. I just noticed that the font of the subs sorta change to Arial in my friend's computer..I used Calibri, as in the screencaps. Can I get some feedbacks on how the subs actually look like on your screen?? Thanks in advance.

After adding up to the translations I made earlier for Utaban episode, I felt like translating non-stop..@_@
And I came across this really funny Love Love Aishiteru clip that I'm itching to see subbed (in English).
The raw has chinese subs on it, and I can't find any other raw so there was nothing I could do. It irks me because it's hindering the subheadings on the screen, and I can't read Chinese even though the kanji is about the same..if anyone can point me out to a better raw, please do!

Anyways, I was playing around with Aegisub (I have been wanting to softsub for a while) and found that it is pretty easy to use. ^^ So I decided to softsub this 5 minutes clip - it is so worthwhile to watch, please do if you haven't watched it!

My first post in 2009, and I'm feeling kind of excited.
I don't really have any resolution for this new year, since I'm pretty bad at making them more like bad at keeping them rather.
But as always, I hope this year will be better than last year, in every aspect. That's rather general, ne? :p I do wish to move to the next stage of my life this year, which means to pass my exams without problems, graduate with my batchmates and proceed to my career path. ^^;

I had a private so-called new year party in my room just now, eating LOTS of japanese food (5 pieces of sushi, cheese croquette, wedges, baked sweet potatoes, omelette, takoyaki and a slice of chocolate banana cake)and we were looking for a way to watch Johnny's countdown online to no avail. Without realizing it it was already 11.30 am in my place which meant the countdown was already over in Japan..=(..must be some kind of network problem..

Feeling disappointed at first, I was again genki after reading the con report from http://nihongofrancais.livejournal.com/467840.html. Thanks a lot to nihongofrancais!
As expected, there's a live telecast of KinKi Kids from Osaka!
KinKi highlights:
- KinKi sang Happy Happy Greeting and everyone in Tokyo sang along.
- Tsuyoshi gave a bonquet of roses to Kouichi for his birthday!

Wishing you the best of life in your 30s, and may you stay happy in KinKi Kids forever.
Hope you will find your significant other within the next 10 years..not with Fukada Kyoko though.. so that you won't end up like Takamizawa-san, no matter who it is as long as you find happiness being with her even though I seriously hope that it won't be Fukada

This year has been a wonderful year for KinKi, and coincidentally a pretty good year for me too in a way or another.


This will be my last entry for the year 2008, may all the good memories remain and hopefully more of them will come in the coming year.

It's amusing that they're good friends when they lived together in the dormitory despite the big difference in seniority. And V6 debuted before KinKi! Surprisingly they didn't complain much about it, being as humble as they always have been unlike a certain younger group..XD and waited patiently until it is their time to debut. Tsuyoshi and Kouichi had achieved so many things in such a young age, and they're still going strong today perhaps due to their humble attitude but at the same time so dedicated to their work.

I guess Okada was sort of special too because he was put in V6 right after passing the audition..
